Custom AI development

Custom AI development and automation.

Your numbers from four systems. Live, on one screen.

A KPI dashboard is the easiest build to picture. We connect the systems you already run and put the result where everyone can see it. A fixed price to build, with running costs quoted upfront. Built for businesses across London, Essex and the South East.

Example build. Sample data, not a client.

The dashboard example

What it replaces.

Finance exports from the accounts package. Sales exports from the CRM. Someone pastes both into a spreadsheet, fixes the formatting and emails it on Monday. By Wednesday it is out of date. You make decisions on it anyway.

A reporting pipeline pulls from each system on a schedule, checks the data and feeds one screen. AI reads the numbers and flags what changed, so nobody has to hunt for it.

  • Pulls from the systems you already use.
  • One version of the numbers, not four.
  • Changes flagged in plain English.
  • Your data stays yours.

Start small

Most builds should start as a pilot.

A pilot proves the idea on one narrow piece of work before you commit to the full thing. If it works, it becomes the first part of the larger build. Not sure what to build yet? The AI Opportunity Review answers that first.

Build prices

Custom AI development prices.

Scoping and the Pilot Build are priced here. A full build depends on how many systems are involved and how clean the data is, so you get one fixed number after scoping, before any work starts. All prices exclude VAT.

  • Scoping

We define what gets built, what it connects to and what it produces. Credited in full against the build.

    £750
  • The bridge

    Pilot Build

One narrow automation or a single dashboard. Fixed scope. Two to three weeks.

    From £3,500
  • Automation or integration

A repeated process handled end to end, or two systems made to talk to each other.

    Quoted after scoping
  • Internal tool or application

A small application your team logs into, shaped around how you work.

    Quoted after scoping
  • Reporting pipeline and dashboard

Several systems connected, data checked and stored, live dashboards on top.

How a build runs

How an AI build runs.

You see working software early and often. If the scope changes, we talk about it before anything is invoiced.

  1. Discovery call

Free. We will tell you honestly if something off the shelf would do the job.

  2. Scoping

A written specification: what it does, what it connects to, the price and the dates. You sign it off.

  3. Build

Short cycles with regular check-ins, so you can steer while it is cheap to change.

  4. Test and hand over

Tested against the specification. Documented. Your team walked through it.

  5. Run

Hosting, AI usage and support from then on, at the monthly figure you agreed with the build.

Run

What it costs to keep it running.

A custom build is not a one-off cost. It needs hosting and it uses paid AI services. It also needs looking after as the systems around it change. We quote that as a monthly figure alongside the build price, so you see the full cost before you commit.

Monitoring

We watch that it runs. If it fails we should know before you do.

Fixes

When a connected system changes and something breaks, we repair it.

Small changes

One more column, a new field, a changed rule. Handled inside the support fee.

The monthly figure depends on what we built and how heavily it is used. Three month minimum, then it runs monthly. The code, your data and the documentation remain yours throughout.

AI development questions

Who owns the build?

You do: the code, your data and the documentation. Running it is a separate monthly cost covering hosting, AI usage and support. We quote it with the build.

What happens if the scope changes?

We talk about it before any extra work is done. You get a fixed price for the change or we leave it out. Nothing is invoiced by surprise.

Which systems can you connect to?

Most business systems with an API or a reliable export: accounting, CRM, ERP, email, file storage and databases. We confirm what is possible during scoping.

Do we need training before a build?

No. You can start at any stage. Many clients start with a Pilot Build.

What is the scoping fee for?

A written specification with a fixed price and dates. It costs £750 and is credited in full against the build.

Why is a full build not priced on the site?

The cost depends on how many systems are involved and how clean the data is. Scoping costs £750 and gives you one fixed number. The £750 is credited against the build. The Pilot Build is priced here so you know what starting costs.

What does it cost to run after it is built?

Every build has a monthly running cost: hosting, AI usage and support. It depends on what we built and how heavily it is used. We quote it with the build. Three month minimum, then it runs monthly.

What if something off the shelf would do the job?

We will tell you. You will not need us to build anything.

Start with a 30-minute call.

It is free. You talk us through the business and we tell you where we would look first. Sometimes the answer is that it is too early.
